About Ava
I am a dual enrolled college student with fourteen years of viola performance experience. I have five years of teaching experience and I have helped several students work their way through the Suzuki books (teaching method). I myself have been trained classically and with the Suzuki method. I participate in Eastern Senior Youth Orchestra, the local community college orchestra, Eastern Regional Orchestra, numerous personal performances, and have recently been admitted to Governor's School West for viola performance.

I am currently finishing my Associates Degree in the Arts and I am happy to teach beginners of all ages (but I have the most experience with children between preschool and middle school). My teaching methodology is primarily a mix of the Suzuki method and classical teaching. I utilize a structured lesson plan that students can work through at their own pace until they master the material.
