About Hannah
I have been giving lessons in classical violin and piano, trad fiddle and music theory for the past 6 years. I have taught ages between 6 and 17, from complete beginner to guiding students through their diploma. A number of my students have been awarded the High Achiever Award based on exam results.

I myself have had teachers from all over the world, using many different teaching approaches. Although I don't believe exams are the best way to progress and would choose to teach pieces at appropriate levels and more freedom in learning music, I have no issue preparing students for exams, and have done well in the past.
All my students will cover scales, studies and pieces while I also believe it's integral to cover the basics of theory as we go along through each level. As I am also a pianist, as we near the end of learning pieces, I will accompany the student to give the opportunity of learning to play with an accompanist and the fun of playing with one!
