About Lillian
I am a professional musician and teacher with two Masters degrees: one in Music Education and the other in Choral Conducting. I have been playing violin since I was 7 years old and have taught violin for the last 14 years.

I teach using the Suzuki Violin Method to beginning students who are keen on learning the basics the right way. In my experience, the Suzuki Method teaches students to teach themselves once the basics are learnt. My best students are the ones with good parental involvement and are diligent to practise at least 15 minutes daily.

My daughter is learning violin with Lillian and she really enjoys it! Lillian has made each lesson interesting enough for a 4-yrs-old. She is very patient and professional. I also like the fact that she teaches the Suzuki book. After 4 lessons my daughter started to play Twinkle Twinkle and it made us so happy to see her progress. I will definitely recommend Lillian!

Details
I teach from my home in Fareham. Beginners usually have 30-minute lessons and cost £30 per lesson. £40 for 45-minute lessons, and £50 for hour-long lessons.
