About Katerina

Briefly about me ... With my violin (or maybe because of it) I have already traveled to many parts of the world and played in the largest concert halls as a concertmaster, soloist and chamber musician. When I'm not on stage or shooting new music videos for my YouTube channel, I pass on my passion for my instrument to my students. ... and my violin lessons ... I already have more than 10 years of experience with beginners and advanced players of all ages. (My youngest student was 3 years old, my oldest student 78!) As part of the "Vivaldi project" at the Robert Schumann Music School in Düsseldorf, I worked as a violin teacher for children and youth culture and was a lecturer at the Kaiserswerth music school and "Nico Zipp". If you want to learn the violin right from the start or if you want to refresh and improve your technical skills, you are very welcome to my violin lessons! We are happy to arrange a first lesson and get to know each other. If you have any questions about purchasing an instrument or any other questions relating to my lessons, please feel free to contact me in advance. About the lesson

Dear music lover, I am glad you made it this far! Because that means that you are only a few steps away from your first violin lesson with me! In my violin lessons I use working materials from the world-famous violin schools of Suzuki and Saßmannshaus. From this I choose the pieces that suit the student and approach the violin in a playful way. For me, the main focus is on the needs of the student. For the very little ones (3 - 5 years old) With my very young students I start with "Colorstrings". With this method the children learn the notes and rhythms according to colors and catchy images. For fans of film and pop music I teach fans of film and pop music their favorite songs. I myself have played concerts with music from "Game of Thrones" and the computer game "Final Fantasy" and arranged well-known songs for violin. I am happy to rewrite your favorite songs for the violin. We can then learn these together in class. For advanced players If you already know the basics of violin playing and you want to develop your skills further, I will show you which pieces and exercises you can use to further hone your violin playing. I prepared young people for their studies at the music college and helped them achieve some success :) It is important to me that my students develop good hearing, listening is everything! If you discover your love for the violin and your musicality through playing the violin, I am happy - because then I have achieved my goal :)
