About Laura

Hi! I am Laura, I finished the viola superior at the conservatory years ago and since then I have dedicated myself to teaching both viola and violin, as music theory and music in general.

My students span ages from 3 years old (with which I use the Suzuki methodology for violin and viola and Music Mind Games for musical language) to adults. Classes can be both online, in person, individual or in groups and we can learn both classical and modern music.

About the lesson

My students span ages from 3 years old (with which I use the Suzuki methodology for violin and viola and Music Mind Games for musical language) to adults.

The Suzuki methodology is based on learning music through the mother tongue, with a philosophy based on respect for the child as a person and the concept that the skill is learned and developed, not inherited.

Music Mind Games is a method of learning music through games. For this we will use specific and individual materials (letters, magic notes, and also a magic wand!). In addition, the method is suitable for all ages. During the classes we will learn to read and write notes, figures, rhythms and symbols, which will lead us to be able to read a score. We will also learn to tone, and differentiate sounds auditory. All this in a very fun way.
