About Isobel
I am a Classical Viola student currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). Alongside my studies at music conservatoire, I have been working as a workshop leader for the past 3 years and have recently begun teaching in a 1:1 setting. I have experience teaching beginner violin and viola. I have a DBS certificate and PLI (certificates can be shown on request).

My teaching method is first and foremost to nurture the enjoyment and love of music. It is vital for any beginer to have a strong foundation on which to build their musical journey on, so I create a specific learning plan for each student that allows them to gain a good understanding of each technical aspect of violin/viola playing, before moving on to the next. I also believe that it is vital to keep motivation and fun a main aspect of all lessons, so I encourage students to explore music they wish to play and will often bring along duets for us to play together.

Details
If the student cancels the lesson with less than 48 hours notice, then I will charge half the lesson fee. If the student cancels with less than 24 hours notice, then the full lesson fee will be expected.
