About Laura
I am a very experienced Geography teacher and Senior Leader. I have worked across a range of schools, the most recent being an Outstanding London school. I LOVE GEOGRAPHY and I love teaching and wanted to be a teacher since I was 3. I believe it is the best job in the world. I also understand that some peoples' experience of school, learning and some subject areas might not be what they would like them to be. I'll work with you one-to-one online, or face-to-face to make sure you achieve your best regardless of your struggles. All my sessions are tailored to you and your learning style, your level of knowledge, understanding and skills. There is no judgment in our sessions - only a drive and desire to get you loving the subject and to get the best possible outcome.

Each student has their individual area for improvement in their studies, so my style reflects this. All sessions are tailored to the knowledge, understanding and skills of each student. I will assess this during the first session and tailor my approach to reflect how you learn best. I believe that Geography needs to be seen and experienced to be learned properly and this is my underlying approach.
I have a BSc(Hons) Geography degree from a Russell Group university (University of Southampton). I have almost 2 decades of teaching experience and I love Geography. My aim to is to make you love it too, and achieve the best results you can. I have successfully tutored students in the past - the most notable helping a student achieve an A in a re-sit after achieving an E in the first exam.
I offer Geography tuition at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE, iGCSE, National 5), and Key Stage 5 (A Level, Higher).
