I believe every learner is unique, so I tailor each session to their personal goals, current level, and preferred learning style. My teaching is interactive and rooted in real-life communication—I encourage speaking from day one, using practical scenarios, role-play, and authentic materials like articles or audio clips. For younger students, I bring in stories, games, and visual prompts to keep them engaged. Grammar and writing are introduced step by step, always in context.
Lessons are delivered exclusively online, typically running 60 to 90 minutes—shorter for children, longer for teens and adults who benefit from deeper discussion.
I welcome beginners to advanced learners of all ages—whether for conversation, exam preparation, business Mandarin, or translation practice. I teach one-to-one or small groups via Zoom or Teams. Above all, I am patient, approachable, and deeply respectful of each learner's journey.
