About Viviana

Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher | Over 5,000 classes taught to students from around the world.

Hello! My name is Viviana. I’m Colombian, a Spanish as a foreign language teacher, and also a lawyer. After several years of teaching Law at universities, I decided to follow my true passion: languages. That’s how I began a new chapter as a Spanish teacher—one that led me to start, over four years ago, a degree in Foreign Languages, which I’m currently completing. Thanks to that decision, I now have the joy and pride of having taught more than 5,000 Spanish lessons to students from all over the world.

I truly enjoy learning and sharing knowledge. I'm also convinced that when you teach a language, you’re sharing the culture behind it. Learning a new language is one of the most powerful ways to enrich your mind and heart—it opens you up to new ways of thinking, acting, and understanding life. And what better if it’s done in a fun and meaningful way?

Languages changed how I see the world—and also who I am. Because it’s not just about learning grammar or vocabulary, but about finding your own voice in a new language. And there’s nothing I love more than watching each student find theirs in Spanish.

About the lesson

What are my classes like?
My classes are specially designed for adults, whether you’re starting from scratch or already have some experience with the language. From day one, my goal is to help you communicate naturally and confidently.

I follow a communicative and practical approach, where grammar is not the end goal, but a tool to help you feel secure and express yourself more effectively in real situations.

Each class will be fully tailored to your level, interests, needs, and goals. I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the process—because when you're having fun, you learn in a more natural and effective way.

What does a typical class with me look like?

Warm-up
We’ll start with interactive warm-up activities like games, questions, or mini challenges—something light and fun to get your Spanish flowing.

Main activity
I’ll introduce useful structures and vocabulary in context, so everything makes sense, and you can apply it to your daily life.

Practice
You’ll actively use what you’ve learned through role plays, communicative exercises, or guided conversations. No meaningless memorization—everything you learn is something you’ll actually use.

After class
I’ll send you all the material we worked on (presentations, vocabulary, activities, etc.), so you can review it at your own pace and without pressure.

What kind of resources do I use?
In our classes, I use visual materials, videos, illustrated stories, creative activities, and much more. I can work entirely in Spanish or, if you’re just starting out, combine it with English to help you understand better. Little by little, we’ll move toward full Spanish until you feel confident and fluent.

Intermediate and advanced levels

In our first class, we’ll do a few activities to find out your level and interests, and we’ll design a personalized learning plan just for you.

If you’re an adult looking to learn Spanish in a practical, communicative, and natural way, these classes are for you.

All classes are held online via Zoom and the trial class will last 45 minutes.
