About Seshothela

Hello future students,

I am Seshothela, an ardent and imaginative educator with a rich background in organisational management and leadership. My journey in the education sector began in 1992, and over the years, I have had the privilege of working in diverse educational settings. With a Master of Education from WITS University and a Doctor of Education from Tshwane University of Technology, my academic and professional experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of both local and international curricula and education systems.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to developing and implementing strategic programmes for at-risk and second-language learners. My roles as an administrator, educator, principal, and manager at school, circuit, and district levels have equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in education. I am passionate about staff and educator development and have consistently worked to empower my colleagues through various development programmes.

I am also an effective communicator with skills in alternative dispute resolution, negotiation, labour law, and interpersonal and presentation skills. My ability to analyse and solve problems has been instrumental in my professional journey, enabling me to create positive and impactful learning environments.

I am interested in teaching because I believe in the transformative power of education. Teaching allows me to inspire and support the next generation of learners and leaders. I am committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning experience that empowers students to reach their full potential.
