Along with my degrees, I hold a specialized diploma in music. Recognizing my dedication to this art form, I have been honored with prestigious music scholarships from the Central Government.
As an active performing artist, I have showcased my talent in numerous high-profile cultural programs and concerts. My Teaching Approach & Methodology
I believe that music is not just a skill, but a journey of self-expression. My teaching methodology is highly personalized, patient, and encouraging. Instead of strict or boring drills, I focus on building a deep love for music. For classical music, I break down complex Raags into simpler, structured patterns. For genres like Ghazal and Sufi, I lay strong emphasis on Talaffuz (correct pronunciation), vocabulary, and emotional expression (Bhava). I also specialize in training students to build the unique coordination required to play the Harmonium while singing simultaneously.
The Structure of a Typical Class (50-60 Minutes)
Every session is structured to ensure maximum learning and engagement:
• First 10-15 Minutes (Vocal Warm-up): Dedicated to voice culture, breath-control exercises, and Riyaaz with Alankars and Swars.
• Next 25-30 Minutes (Core Lesson): Introducing the main topic of the day—whether it’s a new Raag, a soulful Bhajan, a Sufi composition, a Ghazal, or Harmonium finger placement techniques.
• Last 10 Minutes (Performance & Feedback): The student performs what they learned, followed by constructive feedback, corrections, and a customized home practice plan.
My Special Features as a Teacher
• Versatility: Expert guidance across diverse genres—from pure Hindustani Classical to Sufi, Ghazal, Devotional, and Light Music.
• Dual-Skill Training: Rare online coaching for accompanying yourself on the Harmonium while singing.
• Tech-Savvy Online Learning: Using high-quality audio setups and interactive online tools to make long-distance learning seamless and effective.
• Patient & Adaptive: Tailoring the speed of the class according to the student’s unique learning capacity.
Target Audience (Who Can Join)
My classes are completely inclusive and open to all age groups (from beginners to advanced learners):
• School Children (Ages 5+): To build focus, confidence, and a strong cultural foundation through fun musical games.
• College Students & Youth: For stage preparation, light music, and hobby development.
• Adults & Working Professionals: A perfect stress buster to pursue their long-lost musical dreams at their own pace.
• Seniors & Elders: Meditative and soulful learning focusing on Bhajans, Sufi, and classical music.
