About Neha
I hold a Doctorate degree in Science and heading towards gaining another one in the field of Chemistry from AUT, Auckland. I have taught at university level and have approx. 07 years of home tutoring experience. During this time, I have developed the ability to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs, adapting my approach to various learning styles and academic levels. I am skilled at creating engaging and interactive lessons that not only enhance subject understanding but also foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in my students. I have authored 7 Scopus-indexed journal articles and presented my research at 7 scientific conferences. Having completed a PhD in 2024 on the topic “Biodiesel production from waste cooking oil using lipase immobilized nanocomposites”, I am currently pursuing a second PhD in the School of Science at AUT on the topic “Expanding the potential applications of cellulose-based surfactants”. This has been driven by my strong interest in the field of chemistry, which is the core of every technology being developed to save the environment. I am eager and excited about deepening my knowledge in chemistry to foster my goal of conducting research that will promote sustainability and contribute to saving our environment.
