About Chen

My name is Chase, and I am currently studying a Master of Information Technology at the University of Western Australia. Before coming to Australia, I worked as a software engineer for over 10 years, mainly focusing on iOS application development.

Interestingly, my university major was not computer science. I started learning programming by myself during university because I was fascinated by mobile technology. Through continuous self-study and practice, I gradually built my career as a professional software engineer.

Because of this experience, I understand the challenges beginners often face when learning programming. I enjoy helping students learn step by step and build confidence in coding.

About the lesson

I am currently studying a Master of Information Technology at the University of Western Australia and have over 10 years of experience working as a software engineer, mainly in iOS development.

I can teach programming fundamentals, Swift, iOS app development, and Python for beginners. My main expertise is mobile application development, so I can also help students understand how real-world software projects are built.

My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and practical exercises. I usually combine theory with hands-on coding so students can gradually build confidence and problem-solving skills.

Lessons are suitable for beginners, university students, or anyone interested in learning programming. Each lesson typically lasts about one hour and can be conducted online or in Perth.
