About Grace Ho Lan
I'm currently a Master's student at the University of Toronto, which has a strong reputation for writing and research. Much of my work has led me to write formal essays, pitches, blog posts, editorial work, and (debatably bad) prose. I've tutored in Hong Kong and Toronto, and thus, worked in situations where I've had to write my own curriculum or follow a program.

Depending on the type of subject you might want tutoring on, my general approach to tutoring is to break down content into understandable rules and principles. If you have school work that you'd like support in, I've 'lectured' on the subjects to allow students a second round with the content, and answered questions or gone over key themes that translate across the different weeks.
I've worked with students who's second language is English, so my grasp on grammatical rules is strong, coupled by the 10,000 essays the University of Toronto has had me write.
My experience spans elementary, high school, and undergraduate students, and can be easily tailored to your needs!
