About Heli

I am a current 3rd Year Radiation Therapy student aspiring to complete a Master's of Medical Physics in the future. I am extremely passionate about my learning and career eager to share my knowledge with others. With 2 years of previous tutoring under my belt I am also currently a peer mentor with my university as I help other students in my course. I am a motivated tutor taking attention to small details that can help tailor each individual student's learning.

About the lesson

I understand math can be very overwhelming at times. I aim to create a fun and positive environment for students where I can shape and build their confidence and attitude towards math.

These lessons would be a great fit for students who:
- Are preparing for selective entry school exams or competitions
- lack confidence in their foundational math
- want to build upon their current learning and improve their grades

I can mold each lesson to suit each student's specific learning needs to help them focus on breaking down challenging concepts into simple steps.

Lessons are suitable for primary school students and students in Years 7–10. Each 1-hour session will focus on the areas the student finds most challenging, allowing us to work at a comfortable pace and build understanding over time.
