About Divya
I am a Kinesiology and Health Sciences student at a university. Reading and writing have become increasingly important to me. It all began when I began journaling in my spare time. I cherish journaling about my day and my thoughts. I appreciate motivating creative individuals to pay attention to their mental health, to believe in themselves, and to be easy with themselves. Apart from reading and writing, I enjoy baking and cooking for my loved ones, and I am continuously attempting to include conscious ingredients into my lifestyle in order to make each meal of my day more exciting. As a university student, I do follow the Ontario curriculum in my tutoring sessions. However, I am able to help in other parts, such as enhancing individuals' English skills or students who would like to be more fluent in the language. That being said, I don't use a specific book to teach. The Ontario curriculum is based on guidelines to follow and goals that students should meet, not on a certain book that a student must finish. Additionally, using a specific book is not feasible because the lessons depend on the student and their needs. How I educate and the strategies I apply are determined by several factors, such as the student's academic level and understanding of specific topics. To ensure that I cover all topics, I like to prepare lesson plans and agendas.
I like to ensure that I cover and review the basics before proceeding to the next unit. That being said, we would ask parents to consider homework and quizzes if they notice the student is struggling. If the parents request quizzes, assignments, or progress reports, these will be utilised to track the student's performance.

I provide a variety of plans with varying costs. Based on elementary pricing; a one-on-one lesson costs $20 per hour.
