About Isla
I am a university student studying a Bachelor of Science at UCT majoring in genetics and biochemistry. I am passionate about maths and science , and have experience tutoring a wide range of school pupils ranging from 13-18 years of age in the NSC syllabus. I achieved 96% for Physical Sciences in my final examinations and 92% for Mathematics, as well as 93% for Advanced Program Maths IEB syllabus. My previous clients have described me as patient and professional.

My teaching method focuses on working through past question papers and worked examples, making sure each step of the equation is answered fully and methodically. I want to make sure that careless errors are avoided, and that every important aspect of the work is understood fully. I am very patient in my teaching style and consistently check that my students understand what they are learning properly.
