About Audrey
During my last year in Japan, I have participated in French and English tutorials organized by the university during which I conversed in French with small groups of different levels, I corrected their pronunciation, their grammar, allowed them to acquire vocabulary and practice French in a less academic context that their courses. I also gave some private French lessons to foreign students. I am currently in training for becomming a french language teacher.

Currently in training for becomming a french teacher and having a Japanese license, I intend to teach as a profession. I am fluent in French, which is my native language, in Japanese; I studied in university for three years after what I went to study at a Japanese university for a year, and English; English is essential for Japanese studies (very few Japanese textbooks in French) I kept a very good level. As a student in languages, I myself have faced many obstacles so I think I will be able to understand what difficulties may be embarassing my students and give them the tools to circumvent. I think that teaching a language through oral is the best way, that's why I favor the use of dialogues (prepared or not, with written support or not depending on the level and fluency) , listening to the language and prefer to avoid as much as possible the use of another language during the course. In terms of grammar, I find that a simple explanation and comprehension exercises (to be done during the class or outside) allows a much more effective and practical assimilation of rules and thus a faster learning.
