About Lily
Hola! I am in my second year studying Spanish at the University of Leeds. This course has allowed me to gain a number of skills whilst improving my Spanish, one of those being teaching. My grandmother was from Spain and had a strong passion for languages, showing me from a young age that they are a wonderful way to connect to other people and cultures across the world. She inspired me to learn Spanish whilst I was at school, and then Portuguese and Italian over the past few years. Learning a language can be daunting, but my sessions will be a safe space for you to practice and improve.

Since the pandemic started I have worked with A-level students from across the country giving them online classes, tailored to their individual needs. If you are struggling with grammar, speaking confidence or you just want to learn some more vocabulary, I am here to help. By telling me a little bit about yourself we can work together to find a work schedule that will ensure you can get the most of our sessions. Whether that means we work on grammar exercises one week and have a fun conversation class the next, I am here to adapt to your needs!
I am familiar with AQA and Edexcel Spanish exam boards, having studied them myself and also currently working with students to help them achieve their best possible grade. As an A-level survivor, I know what it takes to get through these difficult years and I will do my absolute best to ensure that you can too. This doesn't mean however that we can't cover topics not on the syllabus, I have many fun classes educating about all Spanish speaking countries, and culture classes.
