About Ionut
I am currently a Software Engineering student at university with a strong academic and practical background in computing, including a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing and GCSE Computer Science. Alongside my studies, I have developed hands-on experience in front-end web development through freelance work and collaboration on real-world projects, giving me exposure to professional development practices, modern frameworks, and team-based workflows.
I am Romanian and bilingual in Romanian and English, which has strengthened my communication skills and adaptability when working with different people and learning environments.
I am passionate about software development and continuously improving my technical abilities. My wider interests include creative design, UI/UX, hardware tinkering, 3D modelling, and digital art, all of which contribute to my problem-solving approach and understanding of how users interact with technology.
I am offering tutoring as a way to build a stable income while continuing to grow as a developer and strengthen my own learning. This means I am actively engaged with current technologies and committed to improving both my teaching and technical skills in parallel.
I aim to provide a professional, structured, and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence in programming and computing fundamentals.

My tutoring approach is structured, practical, and focused on active problem-solving rather than passive explanation. I break concepts down into small, logical steps and reinforce them through guided exercises and real coding examples, ensuring understanding is built progressively.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing enough time to introduce concepts, apply them in practice, and review progress without rushing.
I have a strong foundation in computing through a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing and am currently studying Software Engineering at university. Alongside this, I have hands-on experience in front-end development, including freelance web development work and collaboration on real-world projects using modern tools such as React and JavaScript.
My lessons are aimed at beginners through to GCSE and A-Level Computer Science students, as well as individuals wanting to learn Python, web development, or general programming fundamentals. I adapt my teaching style depending on the learner’s level, pace, and goals, with a focus on building confidence and practical skill.
