About Alex
I attended the university of Pittsburgh from 2011-2015 where I studied professional and creative writing with a focus in fiction. I received a secondary degree in children’s literature and I have also worked as a chef and food educator. My teaching style is casual but efficient with a focus on accessing student creativity and finding a way to channel that into coherent writing structures.

I’m happy to work with anyone who may need help with creative writing, script writing, essay writing, creative non-fiction (long live the warm-bodies essay), or even public speaking! I’m an incredibly adaptable educator and I am happy to integrate any student’s personal interest into our lessons.
