About Aashi

Hi! My name is Aashi and I am currently studying biopharmaceutical sciences as my honors bachelors from the University of Ottawa. Throughout my time in high school I delved into STEM partaking in opportunities such as volunteering for STEM camps and research opportunities. My personal favorite science is Chemistry, however, my program allows me to intensively study both biology and chemistry in a hands-on manner as well. I have worked alongside many high school students and I am confident in my ability to adapt to different learning styles. I understand the difficulties of grasping new concepts and finding it daunting to approach science when it isn't particularly engaging. Because of this I try to make students feel comfortable in reaching out and asking questions whenever they need!

About the lesson

I have been studying biology for quite a while and with the gapped repeat of some key concepts I believe I can help others gain a better understanding of how processes work! I’m excited to get to work and come up with a plan for each students individual preference of learning. Discussing topics for biology has always helped me rather than reading again and again so I also hope to share some new ways of studying for this topic!

From the very beginning, she was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our son’s success. Not only did his grades improve noticeably, but his confidence and engagement in the subject increased as well. Concepts that once felt overwhelming were explained clearly and in a way that actually made biology interesting for him. He went from simply trying to get by to actively participating and asking questions.
