About Zoe

As a current Master’s student in Zoology at the University of Otago, I bring both deep subject knowledge and a strong academic foundation to my tutoring. I specialize in NCEA Biology (Levels 1–3) and am passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in their studies. My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I primarily use past exam papers to build familiarity and exam readiness, but I’m also happy to help with any topic or skill a student is struggling with. While I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve gained valuable experience working one-on-one with my younger sister, who has special needs. About the lesson

I offer 1-hour biology lessons weekly tailored to NCEA Levels 1–3, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. My lessons are structured using past exam papers, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments while also covering any specific topics they need help with. I'm flexible and happy to adjust lessons based on your goals or struggles—whether that’s mastering content, refining exam technique, or tackling tricky assignments.

While I’m new to formal tutoring, I bring valuable experience from helping my younger sister, who has special needs, with her schoolwork. This has taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting to different learning styles.

I’m currently a Master’s student in Zoology at the University of Otago, with a strong academic background in biology and a passion for making science accessible and enjoyable.
