About Andrew
I have always wanted to be a teacher. So before I undertake my Master of Teaching degree, I would love to help you with extracurricular lessons in my two favorite subjects, English and History. Both subjects can be very difficult and daunting to students, requiring lots of writing and analytical thinking to succeed. My lessons will help students consolidate their knowledge, practice key essay-writing skills and enjoy these subjects instead of dreading them. I work as a Learning Support Officer in a high school and have great experience in how to expand upon content delivered in class to allow for an easier and enhanced understanding of all subjects. English and History just happen to be my favorites, and the two subjects I have studied at the university level.

My lessons will help consolidate learning in either English or History lessons by revising content in an engaging and more enjoyable way than is often delivered in the classroom.
Each lesson will last one hour to allow for in-depth analysis of content and a proper understanding for my student.
I have graduated from the University of Melbourne, studying English and History in my BA. I also received a 92.85 ATAR in my VCE.
I have worked as a Learning Support Officer in a High School for a year, and have gained valuable insights into how lessons are delivered, how students learn best and how they might gain deeper understanding of content 1-on-1 that is not often possible in the classroom.
My lessons are for all levels of students from Year 7-10 wishing to enhance their understanding of content and improve their grades and preparation for VCE.
