About Ziying
As a Biomedicine student at the University of Melbourne with a strong background in A-Level Biology and Chemistry, I have a solid understanding of the subjects I teach. I focus not only on improving grades, but also on building confidence and independent learning skills.
In high school, I did IGCSE with results of 3A* and 1A. For A-Level, I got both A in biology and chemistry.
I take my tutoring seriously and always aim to create a supportive and reliable learning environment for my students. I am patient, well-prepared for each lesson, and committed to helping students improve at their own pace.
I communicate clearly, keep lessons structured, and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more manageable, especially during exam periods.

I like to keep my lessons flexible depending on what the student needs. Usually, I start by making sure they understand the key concepts, then we go through practice questions together. I explain things step by step and use diagrams or examples if needed. I also focus on exam-style questions so students feel more confident going into tests.
Most lessons are 60 minutes, but I’m happy to do longer sessions (e.g. 90 minutes) if needed, especially closer to exams.
I’m currently studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne and completed A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I’m comfortable breaking down more difficult topics and explaining them in a simpler way. I’ve also helped classmates and juniors with their studies, so I understand the kind of challenges students usually face.
I mainly teach IGCSE and A-Level students (around 14–18 years old). Whether you need help catching up, improving your grades, or preparing for exams, I can adjust the lessons to suit you.
