About Eric
My name's Eric, and I am currently taking a Mathematics degree at UEA in Norwich, predicted a 1st. I have been tutoring and working outreach events for a couple of years now, and have found that I love being able to bridge the gap between students, and helping people achieve what they are capable of. I have an eDBS certificate that has been approved by my uni, and also aim to be as clear as possible about my expectations, capabilities and goals as a tutor. If you ever have a question, no matter how trivial you might think it is, I will always try to answer to the best of my ability!

I am able to give supplementary sessions to your normal studies to help get to the next level of learning with practice and in-depth explanations. I can also do more intensive tutoring, getting you to the point where you are capable of taking the full qualification in 10 weeks (for GCSEs) to 15 weeks (for A-level). All lessons will follow a similar format: a recap of prior sessions, the content for this session, and then some real exam questions to practise what you have learnt. These can be for any age, whether you're 14 and currently learning your GCSEs, or if you're 25 and wanting to take an A-level in a new subject. All lessons are 1-2 hours in length, and can work around your schedule, and I am happy to discuss what times work best for you. As for my experience, I have been tutoring alongside my studies for a few years now: I teach the qualifications that I have gained and now focus on as a full-time university mathematician who specialises in applied mathematics.
