About Derrick

It’s important that you feel confident that you're learning from a qualified and experienced tutor. I hold a PhD in organic polymer chemistry from McMaster University, which I was able to complete with a full NSERC scholarship and have over five years of experience teaching the subject and helping students prepare for exams, including the MCAT and DAT. My approach is professional, reliable, and tailored to each student's goals, with a focus on building understanding, confidence, and exam success using your own course material at your own pace, regardless of your academic background.

About the lesson

I have more than a decade of experience in organic chemistry, both in academia and in the chemical and manufacturing industry. I taught and tutored students from various backgrounds and levels from introductory to advanced upper year courses, preparing students for midterms, finals, MCATs, and DATs.
