About Shital
I am a university Computer Science professor with more than twenty peer-reviewed publications in respected international venues, including leading IEEE and ACM conferences. My academic background spans both teaching and active research, and I have been recognized with a competitive federal research grant for my work in applied technology.
Alongside my university role, I work professionally in cryptography and blockchain security, which keeps my knowledge current and grounded in real-world practice rather than textbooks alone. Students benefit from an instructor who not only teaches these subjects but applies them daily.
I have years of experience guiding learners at every level, from first-time programmers to graduate students. I take teaching seriously, prepare for each session, and genuinely care about helping students gain both confidence and competence. My teaching approach centers on building real understanding rather than memorization. As a university Computer Science professor with more than twenty peer-reviewed publications, I break difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt the pace to each student, whether you are writing your first line of code or preparing for advanced coursework.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of where you are, followed by a focused concept explanation with concrete examples, then hands-on practice where you write code or work through problems while I guide you. We finish by summarizing what you learned and setting a small goal for next time. I believe people learn programming by doing, not by watching.
What sets me apart is the combination of teaching experience and active industry work in cryptography and blockchain security. This means you learn not only how something works, but why it matters in the real world. I am patient with beginners and never make you feel behind.
