About Reilly

I hold a BSc Mathematics degree from the University of Cambridge, and I am now working as a Software Developer in London. I completed my A Levels in Further Maths, Maths and Physics (I achieved A*s in each of them). I absolutely love the subject, and I hope to inspire and motivate students at all stages of their education, whether they are struggling with foundational concepts or are looking to challenge themselves with additional material. I have experience tutoring for A Levels and I have participated in a programme to help students get into Oxbridge. I am fully flexible to cater to each individual's needs and preferences, and I do my best to make my sessions an insightful and worthwhile experience for my students. I believe that with the right guidance, every student has the potential to thrive in maths and I would love to facilitate their learning.

About the lesson

I am a flexible and versatile teacher who believes everyone learns differently. I am primarily interested in finding the method that works best for each student. I try to build things up from first principles in my lessons as I have seen this produces a more thorough understanding than just teaching methods. As a current student I am very aware of the things that teachers get wrong, this means I am able to put myself in the shoes of a student struggling to understand a certain concept and work to overcome it.

Reilly is an amazing tutor. I’ve been preparing for my MAT exam in his lessons. He makes sure that you understand the whole question properly and is really approachable. He provides a lot of extra knowledge beyond the syllabus too which I believe is amazing as it helps to gain some further knowledge on the topic. Overall I’d really recommend him as a tutor!
