About Claudia
I am currently in my third year of Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. This year I have been studying at The University of Mancheter (England) doing my Erasmus.
I have the Advance level of English (CAE) (C1).
I have completed a double baccalaureate: I did the science module of the Lomce Baccalaureate (the spanish method) to take the University access exam (Selectividad); and the International Baccalaureate (IB).
For several years I have been teaching classes in different subjects to several students, with satisfactory results.

Biology has many different parts depending on the level of study, so I cannot be very specific about what I would focus on each.
In general, the objective of my classes is for the student to understand the subject in order to internalize it, instead of memorizing everything, and to reason all the exercises so that he can more easily face the different questions of the subject.
Regarding geology for example, I like to use examples and visual aid, so that the student can proccess it more easily.
Regarding zoology, animals, and physiology; I find the use of diagrams and visual aid very useful. The student has to draw and label them so that the image in which he has worked on is recorded in his memory, rather than printing images, which does not have the same impact. Regarding genetics, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology; I am interested in teaching the mechanisms, how each product is obtained instead of assuming that from X reagent you have X product. I also try to relate it to applications in other fields.
All of the above is an overview since without knowing the studen level it is difficult to specify. In any case, I am currently in my third year of Biology, so I have already covered all the concepts required for these levels.
In addition to Biology, I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Literature (I have adds for each one of them); and the goal is the same: understanding the subject.
