About Simran
My name is Simran and I am currently studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at The University of Warwick. I really enjoy teaching and have been teaching for 5 years. I currently tutor Maths, English and Geography and have 4 years experience training over 35 students in public speaking and coaching many winning teams. I am truly passionate about the subjects I currently study, however my academic interests extend beyond these as I also have a passion for languages generally which I have channelled into extracurricular experiences such as the DELE certification and teaching English to potentially non-native refugees to deepen my ability to teach languages. I also speak over four languages myself! I aim to deepen my students' understanding of content but crucially to develop their analytical skills and encourage the application of this knowledge. Overall, the goal at the heart of my teaching approach is to make the learning process a sustainable one and hopefully a fun one!

I have been teaching for over five years. For the past year I have been tutoring English, Maths and Geography. I am also a volunteer tutor, working with Ukranian refugees to support them with their English, giving me experience in teaching languages to potentially non-native speakers. Prior to this I taught debating and public speaking for over 4 years, training over 35 students and coaching many winning teams.
My teaching style is collaborative and supportive whilst also being highly structured to ensure all necessary learning is covered in sufficient depth and to provide scope to stretch my students further where possible. Overall, the goal at the heart of my teaching approach is to make the learning process a sustainable one and hopefully a fun one!
