About AJ
While in Spain, I taught English in Spanish schools. Depending on what the teacher would tell me to work on the students with, I would conduct English conversations with them. While speaking, if students were having trouble with what I was saying, I would rephrase what I was saying, speak slower, and/or try to explain to them in English what I said, if that didn't work, I would translate what I said into Spanish for them.
This time spent being a teaching assistant taught me the fundamentals of language teaching and gave me the proper skills and experience needed tutor students in Spanish.

I think that a balanced lesson that is taught entirely in Spanish is what is most important when learning a new language. To begin to grasp the language one must be able to understand how it is spoken and how to listen to it, and then go from there.
For a student that is just beginning or is still relatively new to learning Spanish, I have the knowledge and skills to improve and develop their Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and speaking and listening skills. This will give them a good fundamental grasp on the language and allow them to start communicating in Spanish conversations when needed.
