About Niall
Hi Social Scientists,
I am a recently graduated post graduate student who is really excited to teach you guys across a wide range of subject areas within the social sciences. I love to work with young enquiring minds in order to help spread the social sciences, as well as to help you achieve your academic goals. I have chosen to model my lessons around an undergraduate tutorial, in order to prepare you for undergraduate study if you are not already there, or be consistent with your work schedule if you are. Naturally, I am very passionate about what we do, and as such I am patient and in fact believe mistakes in early study are the mistakes we can learn from the most, trust me, we all make them.

Teaching style depends on the specific subject area, for the majority of topics within politics and philosophy lessons will be discursive and ideally student led in order to play out their ideas and preconceptions, and then I will come back sometimes to play devils advocate, sometimes to iron out any misconceptions.
In subjects such as Political Economy or Logic I will take the lead more, and then give the students the opportunity to come back at the end of the sessions. I am also happy to work through any work sheets that the student would like help with, given it isn't an assessed piece of work.
Lessons to run ideally 45-55 minutes, this is to mirror an undergraduate tutorial.
I hold a masters degree in Political Theory and an Undergraduate degree in PPE.
These lessons are ideal for A-level or first and second year undergraduate candidates.
