About Erica

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students learn and grow with confidence. My strong communication and organizational skills have been developed through my involvement in various clubs and student organizations. As a journalist, I have also earned several awards, which strengthened my writing, critical thinking, and public speaking abilities. I strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I believe that learning should be engaging, supportive, and adapted to each student's needs. My teaching approach focuses on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, build confidence, and learn at their own pace. A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by a clear explanation of the topic, interactive activities, guided practice, and a quick assessment to check understanding.

What sets me apart is my background in the BPO industry, where I developed strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. I am also an undergraduate student at the Philippine Normal University, taking the BSMA Psychology and Counseling Straight Program. Studying at the country's National Center for Teacher Education has strengthened my understanding of effective teaching and child development.

I primarily teach English to Grade 1 to Grade 6 students, helping them improve their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills through fun, interactive, and personalized lessons.
