About Arabella
I am a university student with a passion for teaching and inspiring young people. After graduation, i hope to undertake my teacher training and begin my career as a teacher, working with students undertaking their A-levels. I hope to teach modern history and politics, whilst also gaining experience to take on the role of welfare officer in schools. I have previous experience with mentoring and supporting young students and after undertaking safe-guarding training at university, i have found a real passion for both teaching and mental wellbeing support.

As someone who has previous experience mentoring young people, I have found, understanding what teaching methods work best for each pupil, provides the best results both academically and in confidence. I take a more relaxed approach to teaching since i feel that respect and trust is vital to maximising academic potential and engagement with students. Typical lessons are an hour but can be extended to 1.5 and 2 hour lessons if requested. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE R.E, History, English language and English literature, A-level History, Politics and R.E. My lessons will be available for all the previously listed subject areas and level, with an initial meeting to discuss what areas the student would like to work on, what they struggle with and what they enoy.
