Undergraduate college student at the University of Chicago tutoring with SAT math and writing

Malaika gave me piano lessons for 2 years. She is very skilled at playing the piano and also a very good teacher. She is thorough and detail oriented and had lesson plans made out ahead of time. In addition to pieces, she focused on fundementals like aural, sight reading and scales. She pushed my limits gently and my skills improved dramatically in the 2 years with her. To teach a 44 year old with no musical background how to play the piano is commendable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
