About Titi
My name is Titi and I am a 4th year medical studentfrom Manchester. I believe that teaching isn't something that should be like a checklist but must come from the heart. Who better to teach and supervise students to achieving the best that they can , than someone who has gone through the whole process themselves I am a person who likes to take a holistic approach to students so that means I am always available to support students outside of just the scheduled lessons. I honestly know that the grade that you receive is influenced by the support that you have around you- I am ready to have a positive influence!

Being a peer mentor and tutor is something that I have done in all stages of my education to make sure I can make the journeys easier for students. I have the most experience in GCSE level scienceand know how to explain and simplify difficult topics to students and create diagrams to make sure every area of difficulty is addressed and overcame. I have done both online and face-to-face sessions and have done some group sessions where the areas of help needed are similar. I am friendly, patient and flexible and I believe this is the only way to gain a good rapport and communication between students and I.
I believe having gone through the various stages of myself, I am able to give a personal touch to teaching my students; including offering exam techniques and supervising them as they progress academically.
My method of teaching is dictated by the students and having a flexible approach to each person is important. I summarise lengthy textbook subjects into powerpoint slides and include corresponding exam questions achieve the holistic approach students need to understand the topic.
