About Mariam
I am a student at UCT. I have been tutoring for 2 years. I tutored mostly primary school children as this is what i prefer. The people who i tutored had marks that improved a lot. From C's they moved up to B's and a few A's.

I am in my first year of a Bachelor of Social science degree at UCT. I am majoring in Politics, Social development as well as Psychology. During my tutor lessons I start the lesson off by asking what the student struggled with (if there was extra work) or which sections the student needs help in. I do examples with the student to clearly identify the problem areas. Once identified, i explain the topic and teach it thoroughly. I then provide examples for the student to work through and for us to go through together at the end.
