About Eva
Hello! My name is Eva. I am currently studying History at University College London (UCL) and I want to offer my help to those with upcoming exams in History. I am confident that I can help you with your goals and future aspirations. Having achieved a level 9 at GCSE and an A at A Level, I feel I can communicate to you as a recent student how to best approach history as a subject.

History is a difficult subject, especially under exam conditions writing long essays can be very challenging. To best tackle your exams, you need to master the skill set required to analyse sources and write concise essays. I am confident that these skills are not difficult to learn when the correct attention is given to how to tackle essay questions.
Here’s an outline of what I offer -
A Level/GCSE:
History exams can be stressful, especially because they are handwritten exams or typed under timed conditions. To prepare for your papers I will give:
- Personalised lessons to your specific topic at A Level or GCSE
- Revisions resources made by myself (mock questions, sources questions, flashcards)
- Tailored methods of revising for each student and what they find useful
- Will mark timed practice answers and offer constructive feedback which I will go through with each student
- Provide useful resources for further understanding
KS3:
At KS3, students are first learning how to be analytical and deal with the past from a new angle. It is important to learn and master these skills whilst also enjoying history as a subject. For KS3 students I will offer:
- Help with homework and assignments
- Teach how to be analytical with historical sources
- Go through feedback which they have received from school
- Provide exercises to improve areas in need of focus
