About Amar

I am upcoming presumptuous chartered accountant seeking to give back the youth knowledge and power to unlock their futures. I inspire to make a change. I am young energetic hot blooded for the future of todays children to see the potential they have. I wish to use my time wisely doing this. I have worked my entire life met so many different people of all background and ages. Both teaching them and learning from them. With no one to be my role model or look up to I had to learn the hard way working my way up learning the value of the little things and appreciating them.

I have worked and educating since I can remember from starting my own small medium enterprise (retail business) turning it into a well established now successfully managed family business (I thought I would start with the people close to me and it was here I saw my gift and passion to teach). to funding my own way through university and working in highly volatile organizations SME's and both private and public sector organizations.

I believe I have the skills and attributes to lead by example. By providing the guidance and unloading pathways into seeing and valuing the potentials of the children of today will allowing them to see that anything is possible what ever their goal whatever the ambition and making the right decisions regarding their future.

At first Create rules and express them positively
Think about the style of relationship with pupil; find the balance between a dominant and cooperative style helping me to being an effective leader
Negotiate ground rules
Set goals and assessment criteria
Set learning objectives
Being authoritative – in my speech and in body language showing that I am confident and in control

I would think about using what I like to call the PEP approach:
Proximity: Walk around the classroom, attend to a pupil(s) that may need help without invading personal space.
Eye contact: holding eye contact expresses dominance. What you say will be taken more seriously if you can maintain eye contact before, during and after speaking.
Posing questions: rather than telling a pupil what the answer is, pose a question, such as “How did you come about achieving this answer/result? if the approach you used didn't work, what do you think you need/needed to do differently?

Meet and greet pupils by the door to get off to a good start.
Give the pupil(s) in intensive care. Smile, use their name positively, ask for their opinion, make a point at looking at their work, comment favorably about genuine effort or achievement. Talk to them, be patient and helpful, have high expectations and keep calm. Show that I value them by being fair with both mis-behaving students and those who behave obediently.
Learn their names. This is especially valuable when you are new to a school.
Engage pupils in an informal way. Let them know you don’t just see them as pupils but as individuals with interests, hobbies, and lives outside of school.
Use eye contact and proximity.
Collaborate and problem solve together. What’s the problem here? What can we do about this?
Build team and group work.
Have high expectations and let them know what those are.
Develop flexible responses and teaching styles.
Give responsibilities to particular pupils get them involved and experience the sense of being independent.
Check for understanding, reinforce learning goals and expectations.
Be a good role model for your pupils by acting in the way that you want them to behave.
