About Elena

I have three years experience in teaching of the subject music for children aged three to five years. I have very positive experience in working in the social field, in different age groups. I have worked with adult people with disabilities, with children in daycare and with young people in short-term projects. During my six months long stay abroad last year, I have two months in different age classes teaching English in Palu (Indonesia). I have been involved in an art project with young people from junior high school Palu during the afternoon teaching English, as I have looked after the youngsters during rehearsals. In "Toya Creative House (Rumah Kreatif Tora Yaku)" I taught children whose parents were little funds available, between five and twelve years of age. Adults who wanted to improve their English, I supported at the "Mec English Cafe" Palu. Here I supervised subjects talk groups to their language ability and motivation to strengthen.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring in English, German and Music for elementary school students, elementary and secondary students. It's important to meet the Individum and its identity with openness, understanding and recognition. A holistic education in which the learning material is practiced in a creative, different ways is currently very important. Because in addition to the understanding of the learning material to also motivation and expression are very important for successful learning. I use various methods that are adapted to the age group and the group number. For example, it has to work in small groups, in which collaborate strong students with weak students proved my experience well. Here solve the weaker students tasks while fitter students accompany the process and provide assistance. Finally, the task of the group is presented and explained to the class. I add next to exercises on grammar and vocabulary, creative tasks where personal expression is important. For example, the writing of a short story and the Subsequent presentation (vote on a story that is selected for example, to create a short film or a short play).
