About Mya
I am passionate learner and love Sciences (I am completing a chemistry degree currently)! I want to share this passion and interest with others who might need support.
Having struggled with Maths previously, I also had a tutor and this is when I realised the power of having an external sounding board and mentor.
I am patient and am able to adapt my teaching style for your needs. Having gained strong GCSE results, I am confident that I can assist students to reach their full potential.

Lessons are 45mins in length and my style is to coach you on how to approach problems and understand the theory, so you can become confident with various questions.
My lessons are focused on what you are struggling on - and I like for students to be proactive and share a list of topics they find challenging or need more practice with.
I am a current coach and mentor for younger students and typically the lessons are well suited to those in Year 10/Year 11.
