About Anurag

Being an engineer, I have myself found lot of tricks that helped me with my studies. During my schooldays, I was a class topper and loved literature. With that I started with poetry which helped me to diversify my thoughts and increase my imagination power. With that I had become an avid and confident speaker and participated in lot of Debate & Speech events.

I then thought of imparting my skills to other students and therefore with my friends, we decided to improve the standard of English education in a nearby village school. After 2 years of hard work, the student came out with flying colors in their term end examinations.

That boosted up my confidence and I started tutoring my neighborhood kids at reasonable cost. But I have never behaved as a commercial tutor but always as a good friend.

About the lesson

First of all, I do not treat myself as a teacher but as a friend to my students. This makes it easy for them to open up to me regarding any issues they are facing. Also, children understand and remember a lot of things when they do it in a friendly environment.
I do not follow the traditional way of giving homework. I rather give them interesting activities to work with. I do not make them by-heart answers but I help them to visualize and bring their thoughts onto the paper.
Regarding the assessments, I deviate from the old traditional style of taking tests. My process of evaluating my pupils is rather more dynamic and interesting.
At the end, my main aim is to see that they remain excited throughout my session. Being a friend, I also help them out with any issues they face in the materialistic world.
