About Olivia
I am a current student undertaking my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) and my specialist areas are English and Media Arts. If you need to help with refining your writing skills, perfecting essay writing and textual analysis and becoming a confident communicator in all things Arts, Media, Screen Studies and Literature - I'm the tutor for you! My main priority is offering individualised attention and support for you as a learner and supporting you in your education journey. I want my lessons to inspire you and remind you that learning can be enjoyable and fulfilling, and I want to help you meet your specific learning goals as efficiently as possible. My current Masters degree means as a future secondary teacher, who has already had some teaching placement rounds in high schools in Melbourne, I have a very close understanding of the curriculum requirements. I will be using this knowledge to guide our lessons and to ensure we are working towards specific goals and outcomes relevant to the curriculum.

I prioritise differentiation of instruction to increase engagement. I want my lessons to be enjoyable and engaging as well as effective and my priority is making the student feel as supported as possible! :) My lessons are for secondary students - Years 7 - 12.
