About Isobel
I am a mature history of art undergraduate, working at a high 2:1 and 1st class level. My degree encompasses the theories of art historical inquiry, the Italian quattrocento, the Islamic eastern civilisation and the history of photography.
I currently specialise in the meeting points between the eastern and western hemispheres in visual/material culture and the philosophy of art and science.

My lessons are inter-personal and engaging; encouraging the curiosity in the student is the first approach where they tell me the areas of study they find most challenging.
From there, I will endeavour to help the student with essay writing skills, structuring an argument and engaging with the set texts imaginatively and critically.
I take on students who are keen to improve and need mentorship to succeed!
