Super Tutor

Pelin is one of our best Turkish tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Pelin

I have a degree in Foreign Language Education- English Language Teaching from Middle East Technical University, and I teach both English and Turkish as a foreign language. I lived in Turkey and Singapore before, and I have an interest in multiculturalism and multilingualism.

About the lesson

I believe in communicative approaches, and I make you talk about your favourite subjects. Using current affairs and popular culture, I bring the Turkish-speaking world to you and together we can practice whatever aspect of language you like.
If you have kids and want to give them some Turkish exposure, I can play games with them and make sure they are comfortable. I worked with kids from age 6 onwards, and I think the best approach to teach Turkish to children is through games and songs.
Haydi beraber Türkçe öğrenelim :)

Very highly recommended.

Pelin was the perfect answer for Angel, our 14 year old daughter needing to achieve an IELTS score for school entry.

When we explained Angel's situation to Pelin, she said "Leave this to me" and she started a program of daily online sessions over a two month period to patiently engage Angel building her skills and confidence every day.

Angel says of Pelin " She is so very nice and friendly. She understands me and always helps me to learn. I was having a hard time, until I met Pelin. She really gave me a lot of courage and made me confident about doing the IELTS exam. I needed a 6 but she helped me score 6.5 ! "

Pelin has a wonderful teaching style, incredibly patient and engaging and we strongly recommend her to others seeking help with English language skills development and the IELTS testing process.
