About Melis
I am an architectural designer, writer, and editor with experience in teaching and tutoring. I was the teaching assistant at my university's architecture courses and I have tutored students of different ages to develop their writing, speaking, and reading skills, as well as prepare them for TOEFL, IELTS, and SAT. I have also been providing lessons to teach Turkish as it is my native language and I have experience teaching foreign languages.

My teaching method is mainly based on teaching students to apply their knowledge in practical settings. For instance in teaching a language, it is important to learn technical aspects but it is as much important to be able to apply these to daily speaking, writing, or forming sentences. Therefore, I tend to encourage students to always use what they have learned and keep a balance between the technical and practical knowledge of the subject.
