About Fred
I am an experienced tutor with an MSc in Industrial Chemistry and over 9 years of teaching chemistry. I integrate computational chemistry into my lessons. Students learn theoretical modelling of reactions. We calculate molecular properties using quantum chemistry methods. I teach orbital theory and energy calculations carefully. Molecular dynamics simulations are performed through projects. Students practice with chemistry software tools. I help them interpret graphs and outputs. I regularly teach university learners and researchers. They enhance computational research understanding. The learning process becomes clear. My aim is strong scientific reasoning. You will become a confident and well-rounded chemist with strong computational abilities.

I approach Chemistry as a reflective and student-centred science. Mathematics provides structure for complex ideas. Physical chemistry and quantum mechanics are introduced gradually. Thermodynamics explains energy transformations clearly. Statistical mechanics connects microscopic behaviour to macroscopic phenomena. Reaction kinetics, spectroscopy, and molecular modelling add depth. Lessons are structured but calm. Independent thinking is nurtured. DIY biology thinking encourages practical exploration. Science fiction helps visualise abstract systems. Equations are tools to understand nature. Support is steady to build confidence. Students pause to reflect and ask questions. Creativity is valued alongside logic. Complex concepts are revisited to strengthen understanding. Students explore patterns and relationships. Lessons move at a manageable pace. Confidence grows naturally. Learning becomes meaningful and calm. Reflection is encouraged in every session. Students develop problem-solving skills. Knowledge and imagination are integrated. Chemistry is explored deeply and patiently. Learners leave capable and inspired.
