About Iona
Hello! I am a high-achieving student who recently conquered the Digital SAT with a score of 1470, placing me in the top 1%.
I understand the adaptive digital test inside and out. I specialize in helping high schoolers eliminate test anxiety, master digital test-taking strategies, and dramatically boost their scores.

These intensive prep sessions are designed for Grade 10-12 students who want admission to competitive universities. We'll focus on plugging your specific content gaps and using test-taking strategies to boost your score.
The SAT has changed. It is no longer a test of memorization; it is a test of logic and strategy. My methodology focuses on two pillars: Data-Driven Content Mastery and Digital Interface Strategy.
For Math: I teach students how to master advanced algebra, use the Desmos calculator to solve problems as efficiently as possible, and avoid all the trap answers.
For Reading & Writing: I provide concrete frameworks for breaking down dense vocabulary-in-context, craft questions, and grammar modules.
The Adaptive Test: I explicitly train students on how the exam's multi-stage adaptive scoring works, teaching them how to secure a spot in the harder Module 2 to unlock their maximum score.
Standard Lesson Plan (typically 60 mins, open for discussion)
1. Diagnostic Review (10 Mins): Dissecting homework questions or recent practice test results to analyze exactly why you picked a wrong answer.
2. Strategy & Concept Studying (25 Mins): Deep-dive into a specific high-yield question type (e.g., Command of Evidence or Systems of Equations) using proven frameworks found in top prep materials.
3. Timed Bluebook Drills (20 Mins): Live, timed practice which simulates real test conditions. This will build pacing and stop you from being nervous on test day.
4. Action Plan (5 Mins): Assigning targeted official question sets for the week ahead.
