About Zoe

I am a UK Level 3 Performance Coach and hold the Swimming Australia Performance Coach qualification. With over 15 years of coaching experience, I have served as Head Coach in both England and Australia.

As a former international swimmer, I proudly represented Great Britain and New Zealand from 2000 to 2010. During my competitive career, I became a four-time world record holder and won multiple international medals, including at the Commonwealth and European Championships.

Throughout my coaching career, I have worked with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners learning the fundamentals to athletes competing at the highest levels. My coaching philosophy combines evidence-based training methods with the knowledge and experience gained from competing at the elite international level. I am passionate about helping every swimmer reach their full potential by providing expert, individualized coaching in a supportive and motivating environment.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to fit your personal goals and needs, with session lengths available in 30 minute, 45 minute, or 60 minute slots. The duration can vary depending on the focus of the session. Sessions available in Canterbury and across NZ as well as club Swim Clinics and Masterclasses.

My coaching methodology is built around a strong technical foundation, focusing on the precise mechanics of each stroke. I break down each element—whether it’s body position, breathing, arm movement, or kick into manageable steps, ensuring you gain a thorough understanding of how to make each stroke as efficient and powerful as possible. I incorporate video analysis where appropriate, providing visual feedback to help you refine your technique. My approach is both structured and adaptable, catering to the individual needs of each swimmer, whether they are looking to improve their stroke technique, endurance, or competitive performance.

My lessons are designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your swimming efficiency, an intermediate swimmer aiming to enhance your stroke technique, or an advanced competitor striving for elite-level performance, my coaching is tailored to meet your specific needs. I work with swimmers of all ages and welcome all swimmers.
